Our school choir participated in the "Hong Kong Inter-school Choir Festival 2023 Competition cum Masterclass" at Sha Tin Town Hall on January 31. This is the first time the school choir has participated in a live competition since the epidemic. Students were all looking forward to it and were fully engaged in the extra rehearsals during the Lunar New Year holiday.
During the competition, students watched other school teams’ performances and we were given comments and guidance by the adjudicators after singing on the stage, which was certainly educational and meaningful. Students said that the competition was fruitful in that it could broaden their horizons and improve their capability to appreciate choral music.
Our school choir finally won the Silver medal, which was the second place in group E of the secondary school junior division. Thanks to everyone’s efforts and congratulations to all students and teachers who took part in the competition!
