Biology

  • Aims

    • Provide biology-related learning experiences that enable students to develop scientific literacy and maintain an interest in biology with a respect for all living things and the environment.

    • Develop the ability to make scientific inquiries; think scientifically, critically and creatively; and solve biology-related problems individually and collaboratively;

    • Be aware of the social, ethical, economic, environmental and technological implications of biology. Participate actively in our rapidly changing knowledge-based society, prepare for further studies or careers in the fields related to life science, and become lifelong learners in science and technology.

  • Learning Strategies

    • make careful observations, ask relevant questions, identify problems and formulate hypotheses for investigations;

    • plan and conduct scientific investigations with appropriate instruments and methods;
    • use diagrams, graphs, flow charts and physical models as visual representations of phenomena and relationships arising from the data​;

       

    • Organizing a field study tour for students to learning about the field study skills and discover the relationship among difference species in ecological value site.
