On March 27, our F.3 to F.4 debating team participated in the first round of the Term Two Competition in the English Centre of our school. The motion was that “This house regrets the rise of startup culture.”. The adjudicator was Mr. Robert Tymkow and our opponent was Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Shatin). Our three debaters, D Chan (3S), A Lau (4D) and S Leung (4D), argued for the affirmative side. They won the debate because of their teamwork and better use of rebuttals and evidence.
