On 29 January, our F.3 to F.4 Debating Team participated in a Term One Final at Buddhist Tai Kwong Chi Hong College. The motion was that “Parents of children who commit crimes should also be penalised”. The adjudicator was Jenny Jones. Our three debaters, Dora Chan (3S), Sandy Ng (4S) and Hugo Chan (4S), argued for the negative side. They won the debate and were the Champion Team for the First Term. The adjudicator was particularly impressed with the performance of Sandy, who was declared the Best Speaker.

All eight members of the debating teams are enthusiastic and hardworking students, who are now busy preparing for the challenges of the Term Two competitions.
